I just spent an hour writing two separate posts about the whole Chick-fil-A debacle. Needless to say, it won’t ever be posted.
Here’s a link to the most disgusting thing I’ve read in a while. In tears and sick to my stomach that people actually think this way. I hope that one day people will look at comments like this as they now do on comments about things such as race. 50+ years ago, people fought for that to end and I stay optimistic that equal legal rights will one day be given, and the majority of society is well educated and open-minded enough to not wish death upon someone just because of their sexual orientation. http://storify.com/homophobes/top-50-homophobic-chick-fil-a-tweets
I do want to note that I don’t believe these tweets to be a reflection on the opinions of Chick-fil-A but it’s unfortunate that this controversy has been blown into something that spurs these types of reaction. Also people like this need to stop giving conservatives and republicans and people of faith a bad reputation. Just because you’re conservative/republican/christian/catholic and think this way, doesn’t mean all people who identify as any of those things I listed previously feel the same way. Stop fucking putting people in boxes and generalizing them as if everyone is the same. “We didn’t use to identify ourselves by who we voted for in the last election.” Get an opinion, read a few articles, get educated and stop blindly following every popular opinion that is placed in front of you! (this applies to both sides of the political spectrum)
I have so much more angry and frustrated comments to make but I’m done now.

Especially the second part about how we can be the greatest again, but everyone needs to put in some work to be informed and whatnot because right now I’m about to destroy all technology in site that leads me to raise my blood pressure and causes me stress and issues from reading everyone’s fucking stupid ass ignorant comments about liberal this conservative that, obama this, romney that, abortion this, gay marriage that, jesus this, buddha that. LEARN SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING THAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT. I’M NOT RIGHT AND I DON’T CLAIM TO BE RIGHT BUT AT LEAST I REFUSE TO EVER EVER EVER BE IGNORANT.
